Jessica Simpson Magic Sweater Prompts Admission: Star Confirms Pregnancy (PHOTO)
Jessica Simpson has confirmed her pregnancy, after weeks of suspicion. The star made her admission over Christmas vacation, while she was spotted wearing one of her favorite sweaters to cover up.
Jessica Simpson has a magic sweater, or at least some were prompted to think so after the star debuted the sweater over her Christmas vacation. The Juliette sweater is over seven-years-old and made its first public debut when Simpson was photographed making a grocery run in 2005. Simpson has been photographed on several other occasions since, wearing the same green sweater.
The star sported the sweater while celebrating the holidays in Hawaii along with fiancé Eric Johnson, 33, her sister Ashlee Simpson, 28, nephew Bronx, 4 and their mom Tina.
Simpson gave birth to her daughter, Maxwell, 7-months, in May. But just weeks afterwards it was rumored that the star was pregnant again. Simpson confirmed the pregnancy on Christmas, with a holiday photo of Maxwell. "Big Sis" was written in front of the baby girl, who was dressed as a candy cane with a bright red bow on her head.
News of the pregnancy came just after the star revealed that she had lost 60 pounds via a Weight Watchers program. Simpson had signed on as a representative with the company, prompting some to question her contract after getting pregnant again. But the company confirmed that they were satisfied working with the star.
"There have been no changes to our contract with Jessica and we have a great relationship with her," the company told website GossipCop last week. "We're thrilled with the ads we shot with her in November and we can't wait to launch our winter campaign later this month, which will include Jessica."
Simpson however, has allegedly given up on her diet.
"Jessica ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with onion rings," a source told Us Weekly at the beginning of December.
