Jessica Simpson's Baby Advice From Nicole Richie

Nicole Richie, 30, told "Access Hollywood Live" on Wednesday she has offered pregnant pal Jessica Simpson to take her children so the singer can practice parenting on them.

Richie thought spending some time with her 4-year-old daughter Harlow and 2-year-old son Sparrow would be a exactly what she would need to learn some parenting tricks, before her own little one arrived.

Richie says while Simpson, who is expecting her first child with fiancé ex-NFL player Eric Johnson, turned down the offer, though she would still offer it to her. ''The offer still stands because she hasn't had her kids yet. So, if she wants to take them, go ahead. No problem!''

It is rumored that Simpson is having a girl. She was spotted recently shopping for pink baby clothes at a baby boutique with her mom in L.A., and Sources close to the star say she is beyond happy about her pregnancy, and can't wait to meet the baby. "Pregnancy was meant for me -- it really was. I can't wait to have more kids. I love being pregnant," Simpson told People magazine.

Simpson has been keeping herself busy during her pregnancy. She and fellow former reality star Richie, have signed up to serve as mentors on NBC's new reality show, "Fashion Star." Simpson has also just signed a $3 million deal to lose her baby weight through Weight Watchers and become their new spokeswoman.

Jessica says she plans to marry her fiance after the baby is born. The couple decided to push back their wedding from December until after she gives birth so she won't feel so hormonal.

"We were going to throw something together, but I'd rather put more time in it and be able to really enjoy the day," she told Access Hollywood.

"When you're pregnant, your hormones go crazy. I don't want to be super stressed out and end up being a bridezilla! So, I'll wait until after."
