Jimmy Kimmel Prank Planned for Emmy Awards (VIDEO)
Jimmy Kimmel has promised a planned prank for Sunday's Emmy Awards ceremony.
The Emmy Awards will air this Sunday and for the first time, Jimmy Kimmel stands a chance of taking an award home for his "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" nightly show. Kimmel's show was nominated in the outstanding variety series category. But according to the television host, a potential award was not the only thing that he was looking forward to.
Aside from the opportunity to walk the stage, Kimmel also said that it would be a good time to catch certain TV characters out of costume for a change.

"There's certain shows you watch, like 'Game of Thrones' for instance, and you see these people in their medieval fantasy garb," Kimmel said after helping to roll out the red carpet Wednesday morning, in preparation for the celebration. "I don't know what these people look like in real life. I'm kind of anxious about it. I want to see the kid who breast feeds his mother. That's who I want to meet most of all."
Kimmel has been selected as the master of ceremonies for the event and stated that there is still much work to be done.
"There's a lot of work to be done," Kimmel said. "I've been up very late working on this stuff. You have to write every presenter intro, and then the presenters change or the combinations change, and then you have to change those things. What I'm trying to say is this is a real pain."
However all of that work hasn't deterred Kimmel from planning a prank that he says some viewers will get to be in on.
"I have an idea for a prank, and if it goes well, will be great," the first-time Emmy host said, according to the Associated Press. "If it goes badly, it won't be so great. I think it will go well. If you're watching, you'll be in on it. If you're not, you might get caught up in the prank."
