Jimmy Kimmel's Mean Tweets Returns With Julia Roberts, Mindy Kaling and More (VIDEO)

Jimmy Kimmel aired another "Celebrities Read Mean Tweets" segment featuring superstars such as Julia Roberts reading angry posts from fans on his late night show this week.

The "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" host has featured six editions of "Celebrities Read Mean Tweets" before, and the segment airing Wednesday, May 21 was just as funny and raunchy as its predecessors. Some Twitter users frequently use the micro blogging site to lash out at celebrities, and Kimmel gives the stars a chance to respond.

Sofia Vergara, Mindy Kaling, Matthew McConaughey, Ashton Kutcher, Emma Stone and many others each volunteered to read aloud Twitter users' harsh and sometimes vulgar posts about themselves before offering hilarious reactions in the seventh edition.

First up was Roberts who read, "There are people who think Julia Roberts is hot!? Her gigantic mouth looks like it will devour an elephant in one bite."

The 46-year-old Academy Award-winning actress ended up hysterically laughing before finishing the post.

"Thank you kemotherapy7 and good luck," she added.

Kaling, who stars on "The Mindy Project," also read a particularly mean tweet about herself during the segment.

"Mindy Kaling is not funny or attractive, she has an annoying voice, and just plainly sucks … why does she have her own show?" the actress read.

Afterward, Kaling said, "I feel like [that tweet] was more than 140 characters."

"Nebraska" star and Oscar nominee June Sqibb had one of the best reactions to the mean tweet she read, and Kit Harington, who famously portrays Jon Snow on HBO's "Game of Thrones," also shared a notable response. Don Rickles also seemed to agree with the tweet that he resembled Yoda. Gary Oldman, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Piven, Courteney Cox, Andy Garcia, Ethan Hawke and David Blaine also read insulting tweets about themselves during the show.

In the past, Kimmel's "Celebrities Read Mean Tweets" has featured stars such as Katy Perry, Jennifer Garner, Will Ferrell, Cate Blanchett, Jessica Alba and many others.
