Jinger Duggar recently shared her story of salvation as well as personal tips for sharing the Gospel with others in a special taped message with her brother-in-law Ben Seewald.

"I grew up in a Christian home of course, but I realized at a young age that I was a sinner just like any other person. We all have that nature, you know. When I realized that, I realized my need for a Savior and so, at about the age of six years old, I prayed. But really, my heart was not changed until I was 14 years old and I came to my parents and I was like, 'I, I really need Jesus because I know that in my own self, I won't be able to get into heaven. I cannot save myself from sin … and so at that point I was totally broken from sin and I said, 'God, the only thing I need right now is Your forgiveness and that will only come from You and You just give me the strength to do that,'" Jinger said.

"God saved me from my sins and after that, gave me a burden for the lost and the desire to save others coming to know Him," she added.

Ben then interjected, telling his own moment of salvation in lesser terms and said that he himself felt the need and desire to share the good news of Christ's salvation with everyone he knew. He wanted others to feel the same joy and love he felt in that moment of salvation.

"You see people hurting all around you," Jinger said. "Sometimes they have outward signs and you just know that inward bondage is going on in their lives. Like Jesus said when he saw the multitudes, you have to have compassion on them because they are sheep without a shepherd. And I know that in myself, I can't do it on my own, so I know that no one else can without Jesus Christ."

"We're just sinners saved by grace," Ben commented. "I was God's enemy until I turned to God to save me and He showed me my need for Him."

The two then went on to promote tracts they use when encountering people and sharing the faith. This is likely just the first in a series of videos from Ben, who is passionate about sharing his testimony and that of others.
