Jodi Arias Trial Revelation: 'Just Don't Know Yet if I'll Plea or Appeal'

Jodi Arias is expected to go to trial next month to learn whether she will spend the rest of her life behind bars or face the death penalty. Arias tweeted throughout this weekend and revealed that she is unsure whether she'll appeal the guilty verdict that kept her behind bars.

"Let's clear up any confusion. Anyone asking 4 donation$ right not on my behalf 4 my appeals is not legit. I'm not currently accepting donations 4 appeals," Arias tweeted via a friend. "Just don't know yet if I will plea or appeal."

Arias' revelation came the same weekend that the Lifetime movie "Jodi Arias: Dirty Little Secret" aired. It was expected to be a huge boost to Lifetime's ratings, and critics gave the movie relatively good marks for its telling of Arias' relationship with Travis Alexander.

Arias is charged with brutally killing Alexander by shooting him in the head, stabbing him 27 times, and slitting his throat. A jury found her guilty of first-degree murder but was unable to come to an agreement about her sentence. Arias remains behind bars while awaiting retrial on the sentencing phase. Her guilty verdict remains in place and cannot be overturned by a new jury.

"To all those worrying who is tweeting for me NO IT IS NOT DONAVAN. Thank you," Arias also tweeted.

Friend Donavan Bering began tweeting for Arias in April, since Arias is technically not allowed to have any contact of such nature while in prison. However, she has found a way around the restriction to share her thoughts about the trial, life, and advertise her artwork.

"She'll call and say, 'I have a quote.' We'll talk about it. Sometimes she says, 'Let's tweet.' And then she'll say, 'No, let's not do it,'" Bering told Fox 10 News.

Arias' account followers has grown exponentially throughout the trial, verdict, and now the wait for a retrial. She currently has over 76,000 followers who read her every word.
