4 key moments from Joe Rogan's interview with JD Vance
Politics, testosterone and 'Zuck'
Vance and Rogan explored what they saw as a correlation between men's health, testosterone levels and political leanings.
Rogan kicked off the conversation by linking martial arts and other fitness pursuits with political ideology.
"There are very few things that will turn you into a conservative more than martial arts training,” he said.
Vance responded by referencing various studies that connect testosterone levels in young men with conservative politics, and speculated on the potential motivations behind political narratives, suggesting that the Democratic Party might have a vested interest in keeping men in poor health.
"Maybe that's why the Democrats want us all to be, you know, poor health and overweight because that means that we're gonna be more liberal,” said Vance.
He went on to share a personal theory on Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
"My secret theory is that Zuck is now a Trump supporter,” Vance said. “He can't say that publicly of course, but hopefully he is.”
