Joel Osteen Sermons to Be Broadcast on Sunday Mornings on NBC NY
Joel Osteen is coming to network television on Sunday mornings at 11:30 a.m. ET on WNBC 4 New York.
The show will follow the same 30-minute television program format it always has with the first program airing on Aug. 4. It will be called "A Magnet for Blessings."
Osteen's services reach more than 10 million households per week-- one of the largest audiences in the U.S. a press release said. More than 100 nations across the globe are also are able to watch.
"Joel Osteen has a message of hope and unity that is resonating across the nation and around the world. Joel's appeal is universal, allowing him to crossover to audiences that are diverse racially, politically, and socioeconomically," Lakewood Church said in a statement.
Osteen is the pastor of Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas. It is the largest church in America with over 43,000 people in attendance every week.
He has authored four no. 1 New York Times bestselling books, and frequently reaches the top 10 in podcast on iTunes with his sermons in addition to having worship services across the country.
Joel has been ranked by The New York Times as one of the most influential personalities on Twitter as well.
