John Cena to Face AJ Styles at WWE SummerSlam: Who is the Better Fighter? Storyline, TV Schedule, PPV Prices and Booking Details
Things just got personal between John Cena and AJ Styles. This led to a second one-on-one installment for the mega-clash set on August 21 for the WWE SummerSlam PPV at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The two protagonists will wrestle each other in a bid to prove if Cena still has what it takes to remain the most bankable star, or if Styles is already the new face running the place.
The bad blood between them began when AJ destroyed John underhandedly during the Money in the Bank PPV. Cena lost after The Club burst into the scene to aid Styles, turning the match into a three-on-one. The tide turned when the succeeding appearances of Enzo Amore and Big Cass got them to be Cena's impromptu teammates to battle Style's goons into submission.

Now that Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson are on Raw, Styles will have to do it alone. The match clearly comes into a perfect loop to prove who the better WWE superstar is.
To recall, John Cena has tangled into several high-profile SummerSlam rivalries that resulted to a 4-8 win-loss record. Notable WWE stars that feuded with Cena are Rusev, Kevin Owens and Bray Wyatt.
Styles is also not a new face in high-profile fights since earning a title shot against Roman Reigns for the WWE Heavyweight Championship. He was also in a match in WrestleMania 32 against Chris Jericho.
Meanwhile, several fans are curious if the Raw fence is really enough to put a barrier around the Cena-Styles SummerSlam match, or Gallows and Anderson can still find a hole to aid their friend. Rumors escalated after Styles tweeted, "WE will run WWE" and that can only be done if Cena is out of the picture. The biggest attention-drawer was the word "we."
