Jon Gosselin Hits 'Rock Bottom,' Doesn't Pay Child Support
Jon and Kate Gosselin have had an amicable divorce and are now involved in a lawsuit brought by Kate against Jon for allegedly helping write a slanderous e-book about her life and relationship with their eight children. Jon recently gave an interview in which he admitted that he has officially hit "rock bottom."
"I don't have a relationship with Kate. There is no relationship. Text and email. That's it," he told Entertainment Tonight. "Kate and I both support the children financially because she takes care of school and all that stuff but I take care of the exact same things she takes care of. I buy their own groceries; they have their own groceries at my house, their own bedrooms, their own stuff… it's doubled."
Jon has not paid child support to Kate in nearly four years. He is currently working as a waiter but said that he doesn't regret any decisions he's made in his life, which may include helping a friend write an e-book about Kate's intimate life.

The two are currently engaged in a multi-million dollar lawsuit, as Kate alleges that Jon accessed her online bank accounts, cell phone records, and email accounts without her permission. Jon denies all charges and has offered up an explanation of how all that information could have wound up on a hard drive found in his trash.
"After Kate filed for divorce, Jonathan moved out of the family home and into an apartment above the garage of the family home," court documents state. "The children told Jonathan that Kate (and a friend of hers) threw away in the trash everything left behind in the apartment," which apparently includes the hard drive.
"Jonathan has not wrongfully access[ed] any computer, online accounts or telephone belonging to Kate – it is far more plausible that Kate herself threw out the DVDs in the trash. Perhaps most telling of all, however, is the allegation 'Hoffman falsely claimed in certain publications that he recovered the data from Kate's computer by digging through her trash that he found on the street,'" the documents add.
Jon has filed to have the lawsuit dismissed but so far the judge has not issued a ruling one way or the other.
The couple became famous on TLC's "Jon and Kate Plus 8," which depicted their hectic lives raising eight children. Viewers watched, though, as their relationship deteriorated and finally ended in divorce.
