Josh Duggar News: Estranged Husband Spends Christmas with Wife

Christmas is the season of giving and forgiving for Josh Duggar as it was confirmed that his wife, Anna, spent the holidays with him at the rehab facility where he is currently staying.

According to People, a source confirmed that Anna flew to Rockford, Illinois, to be with Josh for Christmas. She is now back in Arkansas with the rest of the family.

Josh started attending the faith-based rehabilitation center since August, following his public confession regarding pornography addiction and cheating on his wife. The publicity then led to the cancellation of the Duggar clan's reality show, "19 Kids and Counting."

Despite the many struggles that the family has been through for the past several months, it is now becoming apparent that they have slowly picked up the pieces and are trying their best to live life as normal as possible before Josh's scandal.

Even before the 27-year-old confessed to cheating and porn addiction, a police report in 2006 carries the details of how he molested five young girls as a teen, including his younger sisters Jill and Jessa.

Reports have since been emerging about Josh having an Ashley-Madison account and hooking up with porn star Danica Dillon. The adult video star also said in several interviews that Josh was wild and harsh during their intimate encounters. Josh, on the other hand, has remained mum about the report, allowing his parents Jim Bob and Michelle to take over and face the media.

While many families should supposedly be torn by such drama and publicity, the Duggar clan has remained intact, and according to the source, "Everyone just had fun and seemed to be in high spirits" during the Christmas season.

This isn't the first time that reports emerged about family visits that Josh received while trudging the "long journey toward wholeness and recovery." A source said Anna took baby Meredith Grace to Illinois last month to see her dad.

The family has not given a statement just yet as to when Josh will be released from rehab, but they have expressed support for the estranged husband, father, brother, and son.
