Joy Behar, Sherri Shepherd, Brooke Burke All Say 'I Do'

Television show hosts Joy Behar, Sherri Shepherd, and Brooke Burke have all married their respective partners over the weekend.

Joy Behar has married Steve Janowitz after dating for 29 years. The couple wed Thursday night during a private ceremony in New York City.

“The View” co-host announced in 2009 that she and Janowitz planned to marry. Three months later, the 68-year-old canceled the engagement, jokingly claiming she had “cold feet.”

“What I’ll do is we’ll get married, and then I’ll tell it,” Behar told OK! Magazine at the time, and two years later, the duo finally wed.

A representative of “The View” told People magazine that Behar would discuss her nuptials when the show returns on September 6 for its 15th season.

One Twitter user, Natalie, mused, “Glad they didn’t rush into anything,” of Behar and Janowitz marrying after nearly 30 years together.

Behar and fellow “The View” host Sherri Shepherd will have much to discuss when the show returns, as Shepherd also said “I do” last weekend.

Shepherd married her fiancé Lamar Sally, a television writer, at the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago on Saturday. “View” co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck was one of Shepherd’s eight bridesmaids. Behar did not attend the ceremony, and wrote on her Twitter account, “Gone fishing,” presumed to be about her honeymoon plans.

The Style Network is planning a special broadcast for September 3 called “Wedding Fabulous: Sherri Shepherd Gets Married,” which will feature behind-the-scenes footage from the TV show host’s wedding.

The third television personality to tie the knot over the weekend, “Dancing With The Stars” host Brooke Burke, married David Charvet in St. Bart’s on Saturday. The couple had been engaged for five years and share two children together, along with Burke’s two children from a previous marriage.

Burke, who has over one million followers of Twitter, wrote on her account Sunday, “sending my 1st good morning tweet as Mrs. Charvet… It’s true, we finally did it with love and certainty. OMG, I am a married woman!!!”

ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” starts again on September 19.
