Joy Williams of The Civil Wars Pregnant
Joy Williams, one half of the singing duo The Civil Wars, is expecting her first child.
The singer took to Twitter to announce the pregnancy. "Beyond excite (sic) to share that Nate (her husband) I are expecting our first child in late June!!! My baby bump & I will see you on the red carpet," she tweeted.
It was a great night for Williams, who went on to win two Grammy awards on Sunday night.

She, along with partner John Paul White, won for Best Country or Folk Duo and Best Folk Album. They released "Barton Hollow" in 2011, and it debuted at number one on iTunes' album sales, number 12 on Billboard's Top 200.
Their first hit, "Poison and Wine" was featured on "Grey's Anatomy" and immediately became a sensation.
They toured with friend and fellow performer Taylor Swift before releasing "Barton Hollow." The three collaborated for the feature song on "The Hunger Games" soundtrack, "Safe and Sound."
The Civil Wars performed at Sunday night's award ceremony, and Williams told reporters backstage, "I'm feeling butterflies, but I can't tell if it's my baby kicking or the actual butterflies itself. Both sensations are really, really wonderful." And after the Grammys, Williams again took to Twitter to express herself.
"This was a day I won't ever forget. Grateful to the point of tears. Happily sleepless from the sweetness of it all," she tweeted.
The Civil Wars will be starting a European tour in March, beginning with a concert in London, then traveling throughout the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
Williams and White describe what each brings to the duo. "I do naturally be pop and grew up on Billie Holliday and The Beach Boys," said Williams. White describes his style as more "retro-country. Somehow we're pulling from each other what we crave and what our strengths are."
