In the game, players will follow two parties, one made up of the human race and the other made up of Deimos, a race of monsters. Each race is after the Great Spirit Stones that are valuable to both races. To the humans, they are a magical source of power and light, while to the monsters they are the force behind their ability to cast spells. The course of the game depends on two characters, Kharg and Darc.

The game is one of eight new games that were announced to release on Jan. 12 via the PlayStation Blog's The Drop. "Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits" joins PS2 classics "Dark Cloud" and "Rogue Galaxy" that are now playable on the PS4.

It will be available on the PlayStation Store on Tuesday, but the price has not been revealed.

"Stranger of Sword City" coming in March 2016

In about a couple of months more, "Stranger of Sword City" will become available to gamers across platforms.

The game puts players in the shoes of the sole survivor of a plane crash. The character finds herself at Escario, the city of swords, and is quickly labeled as the Chosen One who is tasked to defend it. She does this with the help of allies that she must chose wisely, all while she looks for a way home.

"Stranger of Sword City" is scheduled to release on March 22 in the United States and March 25 for Europe for Sony's PS Vita. Meanwhile, Destructoid has reported that developer Experience Inc. will be self-publishing the title for a digital release on Microsoft's Xbox One in Japan and North America in the same week. The game seems to be coming to the PC as well, based on a recent ESRB rating for the game's Windows PC version.
