'Just Cause 3' Update Addresses Game Issues

The 2015 open world action-adventure video game "Just Cause 3" has recently received some new updates. According to a report by Eurogamer, patch 1.02 has already arrived and is now available for the consoles and the PC.

"Since launch, we've been pouring through your reviews and comments to help us prioritise our fixes accordingly," developer Avalanche said in its patch notes when the patch was released. "We know many of you have been patiently awaiting today's patch, and this update is part of a much larger plan to optimise and improve the game. Thanks for your patience."

Included in the 132.1 MB patch are improved loading times, optimizations to online stats, and general stability fixes. Issues in the challenges like a vehicle disappearing when the players start a challenge are also addressed and fixed. As for the PC user, issues concerning screen resizing and abrupt exiting to Windows before the game has fully started up have already been fixed as well.

Express also noted that concerns from some of the players of the game have been addressed by developer Avalanche Studios in their official game blog. With regards to the cut scenes that cannot be skipped, they said that players can skip the cut scenes. All they have to do is to hold B on the gamepad or hit Skip from the pause menu.

The sprint button that many have been looking for is also said to be intentionally not available. The developer team intended to encourage gamers to use Rico's unique grapple to get around Medici as it is a faster way of traveling. The move also allows players to traverse vertically. There is no crouch as well as Rico does not hide. Instead, he gets up in the air as a cover mechanic. Last but not the least, gamers will need to make use of their map to locate Chaos objects.
