'Justice League' Movie News: Jason Momoa Brushes Off Negative Comments on 'Batman v Superman:Dawn of Justice,' Excited About 'Justice League'

The negative reactions on "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" have failed to douse the excitement of actor Jason Momoa for playing the role of Aquaman for a longer exposure in next year's "Justice League: Part 1."

Commenting on the backlash that the currently showing movie—where he is featured in a cameo--- is getting, Momoa said that it is but natural for people to have varying opinions, and the important thing that matters is that there are many good things in store for the "Justice League" movie, and fans are looking forward to see it.

"There's been some things here and there, but I'm stoked. There's a lot of support from fans. There's a big beautiful world. There's a lot — a lot — of stuff. I feel really privileged to know that there's a lot of big, beautiful stuff that's going to happen. I'm excited too, for people to see the final product. And now it's our turn — it's Justice League time! I've been waiting for four years that I've known about it that I've had to keep my mouth shut. I'm super pumped to shoot it!" Momoa said.

Apart from "Justice League" Momoa is also set to star on the standalone feature of Aquaman in an eponymous film slated for a July 27, 2018 showing date. It will be directed by James Wan, who, earlier, said that the movie will go on according to how he wants to tell the story and not based on the influence of Snyder, who is under fire for the dark tone of "Batman v Superman."

Meanwhile, a rumor claiming that Aquaman will play villain in the early part of the "Justice League: Part 1" movie has surfaced. According to reports, the movie will feature a fight between the king of the Atlantis and the duo of Wonder Woman and Batman as the two go undersea. Also, allegedly, the movie will also showcase the clash between Wonder Woman's Amazonians and Aquaman's Atlantean, thanks to the long-standing conflict between the two fictional groups.

However, such a rumor remains a rumor at this point in time and must not be dignified. If there is one thing sure about Aquaman as of this writing, he is devil may care about how the critics slammed "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

"Some people liked it, some people didn't, it is what it is. I don't get it, but I don't really listen to what anyone says…You can't win 'em all. And I had a ball. I loved it," Momoa said.
