'Justice League' News, Release Date: New Poster Features Queen Hippolyta, Mera

Dolby Digital has unveiled a new poster for "Justice League," featuring the members of the team in vibrant detail. While previous posters featured the palette of colors typically used in a Zack Snyder film, the most recent poster looks more realistic and includes for the first time two of the league's most formidable allies.

The brand new poster is the fourth major promo material released this week. Earlier this week, Warner Bros. and DC unveiled the first batch of "Justice League" posters for the Chinese market, bringing Superman to the mix. The second and third batches of posters were released a day after, with one announcing the pre-sale of "Justice League" tickets and the other one promoting the IMAX release of the highly-anticipated film. Visually, the third and fourth batches looked reminiscent of the original comics on which the film is based.

The fourth and newest poster for the film is remarkable, not just because of its colorful design, but also because of the inclusion of Queen Hippolyta and Mera, who were not featured in any of the previous promotional materials for the film. Although the new poster still highlights the original members of the league, it features Hippolyta and Mera leading their respective forces on both sides.

With the members of the league at the center, Queen Hippolyta (Connie Nielsen) is seen leading the Themysciran forces on the left side of the league and Mera (Amber Heard) leading the Atlantean forces on the other side. The poster hints that in the forthcoming epic battle, the league will not be alone in fighting the Paredemons.

Meanwhile, another "Justice League" poster has emerged online in time for the Comic-Con Paris this weekend, featuring Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Batman (Ben Affleck), and Flash (Ezra Miller) standing in front of the Eiffel Tower.

"Justice League" will open in theaters on Nov. 17.
