'Justice League: Part 1' Movie News: Fans Can Expect a Fun and Entertaining 'Justice League' Movie, Thanks to the Changes in Warner Bros
Warner and DC will be more hands-on in the upcoming movie releases of DC superhero movies. With this, it can be expected that the upcoming "Justice League: Part 1" will be fun and entertaining, the Zack Snyder way.
Although the still currently showing "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has made Warner Bros. and DC almost $800 million dollars richer as of this writing, there is no denying that the movie failed to sustain the excitement and the ticket sales after a strong opening weekend. Apparently, the negative criticisms hurled against the movie have taken a toll on its box-office performance.
With this, according to Variety, production executive Jon Berg and Time-Warner will lay their hands on the approach of the upcoming movies, especially those movies that involve overarching stories, just like "Justice League." With this, Warner Bros. may hire someone who is knowledgeable in both DC minutiae and production. Greg Silverman, head of film production at Warner Bros., will oversee the entirety of the production.
Variety writer Kristopher Tapley opines that, while it is true that much of the creative decisions is left in the hands of director Snyder, providing the fans with lots of awe-inspiring images, he is short of the ability to effectively and impressively deliver a complex narrative, such "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Justice League: Part 1."
"Justice League: Part 1" starts shooting today, and gathers back the characters of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman as reprised by Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, and Gal Gadot, respectively. Other confirmed actors to participate in the movie as superheroes as of this writing are Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, and Amber Heard to play the respective roles of Aquaman, The Flash, Cyborg, and Mera.
With the changes happening in Warner Bros., disgruntled fans and critics alike that "Justice League: Part 1" will make up for Warner Bros. and DC's flaws in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."
"Justice League: Part 1" is slated for a Nov. 16, 2017 release date.
