Justin Bieber 911 Call, Singer Fled Paparazzi at 100 MPH, Ticketed (AUDIO)
In a 911 call made after Justin Bieber was arrested for reckless driving, the singer reveals that he was speeding in attempt to evade paparazzi who had been on his tail.
Justin Bieber was pulled over by cops on Friday, after his speed clocked in at 100 mph on a Los Angeles highway. While Bieber was later accused of posing a severe danger to others, one politician even suggesting that the star should be arrested, Bieber himself later claimed that he was only driving recklessly to avoid the paparazzi who had been chasing him down.
"I have like 5 cars following me," Bieber said during the 911 call he made Friday according to TMZ. "They are driving really reckless."

The call occurred just after Bieber had been pulled over. When asked by the operator if he was the same vehicle that had just been pulled over, Bieber offered further explanation.
"They're the ones that are driving recklessly now, I'm just trying to like not have them be on my tail right now," Bieber stated to emergency dispatchers. "Before I was driving fast so I could get away from them and got pulled over myself." The operator then proceeded to dispatch officers in order to assist the singer.
The new report offers a far different explanation than what many assumed, suggesting that Bieber may have been speeding in order to increase his "bad boy" image.
Los Angeles Councilman Dennis Zine even went as far as to suggest that Bieber should have been arrested for driving so recklessly.
"As I watched, I was anticipating a crash," Zine told ABC News. "It was chaos. Total willful disregard for people on the roadway."
Zine, a former police veteran who served for over 33 years, stated that he would have handled the situation differently.
"I would have arrested him for reckless driving," the councilman said. "I would have impounded his car."
