Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Adopt?
Justin Bieber and his girlfriend Selena Gomez have adopted a puppy, according to recent news reports.
The young couple have been together eight months, and adopted a husky named Baylor. Gomez, 19, was spotted carrying the puppy backstage ahead of her concert in London last week.
While on tour Gomez fell ill, posting on Twitter that the newest addition to her family made her feel better.
“After 12 hours of medicine, tea, 1374 cans of soup and throwing up right when I get off stage ending my night with Baylor watching friends is perfect,” wrote the former Disney star. “I can’t thank you enough London for tonight I’m so sorry I was sick. I love you guys so much.”
Bieber, two years younger than his girlfriend, was seen with Gomez in Winnipeg Saturday while watching an ice hockey match. Headed to the U.K. next month, Bieber is also releasing his Christmas album, “Under the Mistletoe.”
About the holiday-inspired new music, Bieber said inspiration was hard to come by in the studio until Christmas cookies were brought in.
“It’s different, because you’ve gotta think Christmastime,” said the singing heartthrob about recording the album in August. “You’ve gotta think, ‘What’s at Christmas? Mistletoe, reindeer, Santa, all these thing.’”
“Especially when it’s not Christmastime, it’s hard to really get your mind around it, but once you get into it, like, I was really thinking it was Christmastime when I was writing this album…”
He added, “We had Christmas cookies [in the studio].”
Speaking to MTV News, the star shared that he selected a few of his favorite Christmas songs for the album, along with new music by him.
“I picked ‘Silent Night,’ I picked ‘Santa [Clause Is] Coming to Town,’ because everyone loves those songs,” said Bieber. “Those are classics. They get people excited for Christmas.”
“Under the Mistletoe” will follow his smash album “My World,” and will be in stores Nov. 1.
