Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Dating News: Are the Two An Item Again?
When news broke that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez called it quits, hearts were broken and tears were shed, but with the new rumors igniting a small fire that has always been there, it might mean something more than what the eyes can see.
For many "Jelena" fans, the weekend was a stir, especially for those who have been praying to all the gods of the universe for the two to get back together. Whether the rumor that the two may have re-ignited their love is true or not, some very reliable outlets suggest that the only thing to be sure of is the "feelings" that the two have been expressing for each other for some time.
Elle says Gomez started all the buzz about the two getting back together when she explicitly suggested in an interview in September that she and Bieber might patch things up. The younger artist obviously replied in numerous interviews, saying he's still in love with his ex. For the most part, Bieber has been the more "aggressive" one in terms of letting the world know that the smoke of their burned love is still all over the place.
Just two weeks ago, the Biebs told Ellen DeGeneres that there may be a real chance for him and Gomez in the future. "Maybe once we figure ourselves out, we can come together and make an awesome duo..." he said.
The outlet goes on to explain that one other evidence of the two possibly reclaiming their estranged love is the Friday night video that went viral. In the video, Bieber is seen serenading Gomez with the hit "My Girl," to which Gomez seems to play hard to get.
After the stint at the hotel, the two were spotted taking a walk. While they weren't holding hands, it was reported that Bieber put his hand behind Gomez's back, while Gomez held on to his shoulder.
The estranged couple weren't seen together during the AMAs, though a TMZ report says they actually requested to be seated next to each other — a request which, probably, the production didn't approve of.
Vanity Fair says one of the main reasons that the two aren't rushing anything just yet is because the wounds are still healing, and as two "older" people, it only makes sense that they have learned to keep some of the private things under wraps until they are both strong enough to face the world — once again — as a couple.
