This is the question asked by some fans of the two young stars after latest reports surfaced that Gomez was reportedly fuming mad after Bieber brought one of his ex-flames at the recently-concluded iHeartRadio Awards, Hailey Baldwin, as his secret date.
According to Hollywood Life, Bieber insisted on bringing Hailey to the event despite his prior knowledge that Gomez would be there. Reportedly, Bieber wants to give their relationship another try despite breaking up with her in the past for the reason that he didn't want them to be exclusive.
However, despite being sneaky about his secret date, Bieber's act was not hidden long from the prying eyes. To make things worse, allegedly, Gomez herself witnessed the two together when she headed backstage and caught Bieber red-handed. This supposedly caused Gomez to fly off the handle.

The source of Hollywood Life said that Bieber gave Gomez a cold-shoulder treatment when they met backstage after the latter's discovery. Tension between the two was undeniable that night, according to the source. Gomez even skipped on Bieber's performance at the event.
Hollywood Life reported earlier that Bieber had felt bad that Gomez has allegedly become a romantic cynic after their breakup. However, in the past weeks, it seemed that Gomez's heart was softening for her ex as she was even spotted at Bieber's concert at L.A.'s Staples Center last month. Gomez was even reported to have spent time with Bieber during his week-long stay at Montage Hotel.
However, just when things were indicative of Gomez's possibly opening her heart to love once more, the recent event may just justify her choice not to entertain romance until who-knows-when.
"… Then I got my heart broken and I cared. Because people had no idea what was going on, but everywhere it was a million different things… I was kind of in a corner, banging my head against the wall. I didn't know where to go," said Gomez in her interview with W Magazine last March when she was asked about her take on people prying on her private life.
