Justin Bieber Baby Mama: 'Bieber Team Bullying Yeater,' Claims Lawyer (VIDEO)
The lawyer for Mariah Yeater, the woman claiming Justin Bieber fathered her son, has defended his 20-year-old client, claiming she is being “bullied” by Bieber’s team.
Jeffrey Leaving has said Bieber’s powerful legal team is trying to intimidate and frighten her.
Leaving said: “I fight for what's right and I fight for the victim and I believe what I'm doing is right.”
Yeater has also received death threats from Bieber fans on Twitter, many accusing her of trying to cash in on his name and force a settlement.
However, she has said: “I'm not going to be shaken off course by his hostile words. He needs to accept responsibility for his child.”
It was reported last week that the singing star could have settled the paternity issue before the case became public.
Leaving recently claimed that he tried to get Bieber to agree to a settlement before the case was filed. However, he did not receive a reply from the pop-singer’s camp, according to Radar Online.
Leaving shared that his team is confident the DNA tests from the pop star will determine that he is the father of Yeater’s child. He warned, however, the tests need to be “carefully supervised” to make sure the results are accurate and that no information is tampered.
