Justin Bieber Baby Mama Rumors Can't Stop Christmas Album Making History at No.1
Justin Bieber has shaken off the “baby mama” rumors swirling around him to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart with his special holiday album “Under the Mistletoe,” which has already sold more than 210,000 copies.
Bieber made history with his new album, becoming the first ever male artist to debut at No.1 with a Christmas album. He is also reportedly the first solo artist to have three No. 1 albums before the age of 18.
Bieber is currently being accused of fathering a baby with fan Mariah Yeater. Regarding the rumors, he thanked his fans for their support on Twitter saying: “So this past week and even today every rumor and lie about me possible has been coming out in the press. Just need to ignore it ... my fans have been there for me.”
He has also released an animated video for the single “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.”
Bieber’s new album features songs with Mariah Carey, Busta Rhymes, Usher, The Band Perry and Boys II Men.
Following “Under the Mistletoe,” rapper Wale’s “Ambition” debuted at No. 2, selling 164,000 copies. Miranda Lambert’s “Four the Record” ranked No. 3, with Susan Boyle landing in at No. 4.
