Justin Bieber 'Breaks Down' During Pastor Carl Lentz's Hillsong NYC Sermon: How It Happened?

Justin Bieber, 19-year-old pop music star, was apparently moved to tears by a sermon preached by Pastor Carl Lentz at Hillsong NYC church on Sunday, September 8.

The teen idol was in New York City over the weekend for the start of Fashion Weekend and before that Bieber made time to worship with the Hillsong NYC congregation at their Irving Plaza location.

The subject of the Pastor Lentz's Sunday message was "There Goes the Neighborhood."

The message was described as a message for "anyone searching for their calling," in the Hillsong NYC Instagram page.

Bieber was apparentely so touched that he thanked the pastor through his Twitter account.

And he also uploaded a photo of himself and Pastor Lentz.

Though Bieber is one of the world's biggest music stars, he has always been outspoken about his Christian faith and his belief in Jesus Christ as his savior.

He has previously referred to The City Church's Judah Smith as his "pastor."
