Justin Bieber Fans Question Laptop Thief's Identity, Doubt Video Will Change Support
Justin Bieber was recently threatened by a thief who threatened to expose personal items from his laptop on Twitter Friday, but the Canadian crooner's fans are reacting to the news by expressing their support for him and speculating about the person's identity.
"@gexwy no matter what you have and what you post tomorrow I know my fans won't leave me. screw it. #toostrong," Bieber responded to the thief who created a Twitter handle Wednesday to threaten to expose the 18-year-old pop star.
According to Perez Hilton reports that were also tweeted out by the alleged thief @gexwy, one personal item from his computer contains a video of Bieber at a "wild" pool party with females other than his girlfriend Selena Gomez. Still, Bieber's fans seemed to support the singer despite the fact that they had yet to see the video footage of the Canadian crooner with other women.
"Wow, that's messed up. People don't know when to freaking stop," one fan said sympathizing with the entertainer.
While others seemed to empathize with the singer, some questioned if the person who stole his laptop was a fan since the singer announced that it was taken from his tour manager's office at one of his tour stops earlier in the week.
"Honey, it was definitely a fan," one person speculated on the social networking website. "I'm pretty sure his crew wouldn't have done it."
However, one fan of Bieber's seemed offended by the suggestion.
"Maybe it's not 'fans' that stole his things .. #justsaying," the fan tweeted. "Beliebers respect Justin."
Despite the support from his fans, the thief with the Twitter handle @gexwy seemed to believe that fans could feel differently about Bieber after his personal items were exposed at noon on Friday.
"...The rest of you can just shut up," the thief stated on the social networking website on Thursday following reactions from Bieber's fans. "You have no idea what I have and when you see tomorrow you will feel different."
