Justin Bieber Goes to Church After Escaping Jail Time

Justin Bieber reportedly attended church to worship God after being sentenced for misdemeanor vandalism.

Bieber, the 20-year-old singer, was accused of vandalizing his neighbor's home with eggs. The pop star will be forced to undergo 12 weekly anger management classes, pay a fine, perform five days of community service along with his two years of probation after pleading no contest to misdemeanor vandalism, according to CNN.

After being sentenced this week, Hip Hollywood is reporting that Bieber stopped by Pastor Judah Smith's City Church.

Now, Bieber seems ready to move on from the ordeal.

"Justin is glad to get this matter resolved and behind him," a statement from his rep reads, according to Radar Online. "He will continue to move forward focusing on his career and his music."

Bieber previously attended Bible study at Smith's church last month with on-and-off-again singer girlfriend Selena Gomez. In May, Bieber took to his Twitter to share an image of himself with the Seattle Seahawks' Russell Wilson and Pastor Smith.

"Blessed to hear one of the best @judahsmith speak today about our Lord in church today. #JesusIs," Bieber captioned the image.

The pastor caught wind of Bieber's message and responded, "Love you."

Pastor Smith has previously spoken about his role in Bieber's life.

"Justin and I share Scriptures on a regular basis and communicate," Smith told E! last year. "And I think you find a lot of comfort and clarity in the Scriptures."

Smith, the leader of The City Church in Seattle, Wash., has made it clear that he seeks to
uplift Bieber. Regardless of media speculation, Smith has never called Bieber anything less than a good young man.

"I do my best to encourage him, and he's a spectacular young man," Smith said during an appearance on Fox last year.
