Justin Bieber Graduates From High School Before 'Believe' Tour

Justin Bieber announced that he has graduated from high school and like most teenagers his age, the singer is happy that it's all over with.

"I passed my test – I'm free! It was hard doing school and work every day," Bieber told Australian newspaper The Telegraph.

"[Graduating] was something my mom really wanted me to do. I mean this kind of lifestyle has given me a different perspective on life. I've been able to travel the world. At school, usually you have to do a lot of writing and reading. I'm really not into that stuff. I like to be out there," he added.

While Bieber's mother undoubtedly influenced his decision to pursue his high school education, critics suspect that the 18-year-old's manager also may have played a role in urging the "Believe" singer to graduate, according to the Huffington Post.

Scooter Braun, who also manages rapper Asher Roth, is teaming up with Comedy director Adam McKay to produce a new documentary about the soaring number of high school dropouts in the United States.

Bieber is arguably one of the most successful pop artists today and his music continues to break world records.

His latest single "Boyfriend" sold over half a million downloads during its first week of release, which earned the singer the second highest number of first week sales in history.

The "Boyfriend" music video also proved to be successful, receiving more than 8 million views during the first 24 hours of its release, and it currently has a total of 18 million views.

The multi-platinum singer-song writer has won dozens of prestigious awards for his work including four American Music Awards, six Billboard Music Awards, and he has been nominated three times for a Grammy award.

Tickets for Bieber's upcoming "Believe" Tour will go on sale in May, and they are expected to sell out.
