Justin Bieber Insults Prince William by Questioning Receding Hairline, Fans Outraged
Justin Bieber has received widespread backlash regarding recent comments that he made about Prince William's hairline.
The 18-year-old suggested that the Duke of Cambridge should be embarrassed about his receding hairline and insisted that the Prince do something to prevent it during a recent interview.
"I mean, there are things to prevent that nowadays, like Propecia. I don't know why [Prince William] doesn't just get those things, those products. You just take Propecia and your hair grows back. Have you not got it over here?" a candid Bieber told Rollercoaster magazine U.K.
The pop star's comments did not sit well with fans of 30-year-old Prince William, and dozens flocked to social networking site Twitter to lash out at Bieber.
"Wow! Bieber is getting ahead of himself," Roman Holland wrote on Twitter.
"This kid.. Who tf [sic] is he to criticize?!" Daniel Rojas agreed.
"Stupid p---- shld keep stupid month [sic] shut!" KD Baker tweeted.
"you should be ashamed of your existence," Maggie O'Reilly posted on Twitter.
This is the second time in recent days that Bieber has angered fans after making insulting remarks in public.
On July 28, Bieber, arguably one of the most polarizing stars in pop music, was reportedly forced to apologize to a fellow passenger while on an Air New Zealand flight after he allegedly caused a disturbance by cursing out loud in the first class section.
The ''Boyfriend'' singer was flying to Los Angeles after wrapping up his promotional tour around Australia and New Zealand when he was confronted by a woman who demanded that he and his entourage stop yelling profanities.
The woman reportedly asked the group to "stop yelling curse words and using that kind of language on a plane" and she said that it was "not appropriate," which prompted an apology from Bieber, according to TMZ.com.
