Justin Bieber Ready to Perform After Suffering Concussion; Star Guides Fans on Prayer
Justin Bieber, 18-year-old Canadian crooner, recently suffered a concussion during a performance in Paris on Thursday but refused to stop the show.
Bieber injured himself after he walked into a glass wall while performing a secret show for fans on a promotional tour for his upcoming "Believe" album. Although his adrenaline helped him complete his performance, the singer admitted that he passed out once he went backstage.
"I was performing, and I was going offstage and, basically, I'm in Paris and performing on the tallest building in Paris, and there's a glass wall behind me, but there's a railing behind the glass. And so I went to reach for the railing and I hit my head on the glass," he explained. "And I guess me and glass windows don't really go together."

Although Bieber's fans wished him well and offered prayers, the entertainer made sure to let them know that other people could use their divine appeals.
"Thanks for the love but there are a lot of people out there who need prayers. I'm fine, just smacked my head and needed some water," Bieber tweeted after his performance Thursday. "All good. I'm Canadian. We are tough. lol. "
Although Bieber reportedly passed out for 15 seconds after the show and suffered from a headache, he made light of the situation by joking about facing the glass in a Las Vegas fight.
"I will see u again Glass. I will have my revenge," Bieber joked. "BIEBER vs GLASS. MGM LAS VEGAS 2013. lol. #GottaLaughAtYourself."
The singer said he was surprised that his fans, known as "Beliebers," knew about his injury before his own mother. Still, the singer said he would continue to work as scheduled despite the injury.
"The fact you all knew what happened before my mom even did is impressive. I have amazing fans, very grateful for your love," he tweeted. "Gonna eat, rest, get some sleep and tomorrow I'm back at it. The show must go on!"
