Justin Bieber Reportedly Upset After Question on Mother, Justin Timberlake Comparison

Justin Bieber, 18-year-old Canadian crooner, may have quit a recent radio interview after his mother became the topic of conversation.

Thomas Carballo, host of radio show "Mojo in The Morning," reportedly offended Bieber by asking if he was worried that Harry Styles of music group's "One Direction" would take a liking to the "Believe" singer's mother.

"Do you worry about Harry around your mum, since he likes older women," Carballo asked.

Bieber didn't seem too pleased with the line of questioning, telling the radio host to mind the matters of his own mother.

"I think you should worry about your mom, bro," Bieber told the DJ.

However the radio host responded to the singer by revealing that he did not have a mother.

"Justin, my mum's dead so unfortunately I don't think that will work," Caraballo said.

After a moment of silence, Bieber proceeded to hang up the phone. However, it was not the first time that the pop star was unhappy during the interview.

When Caraballo compared Bieber to entertainer Justin Timberlake, the singer let the DJ know that he was offended.

"That's funny, as our voices sound nothing alike," Bieber told the DJ. "Saying I sound like someone else is definitely not a compliment."

The singer's representative later told the radio host that Bieber was "upset" and would not be calling the host back, according to the Daily Star reports.

"I can't get him," the representative said. "He probably won't be calling back."

Bieber's "Believe" album, which was released last month, is reportedly the biggest debut of the year after moving a reported 374,000 copies in its first week according to Nielsen SoundScan. The chart topping singer is working on promoting the album while gearing up to perform at The Teen Choice Awards which will air live on Fox July 22.
