Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez Reunite For July 4 Holiday
Justin Bieber, 19, and Selena Gomez, 20, recently spent July 4 together, which may fuel speculation about their on-and-off again romantic relationship being rekindled.
Bieber took to Instagram to showcase a picture of himself and Gomez with the caption "justin bieber #heartbreaker."
However, Bieber wasn't the only person to show evidence of himself cuddling up to Gomez over the holiday weekend. Jas Prince, the son of Rap-A-Lot Records founder James Prince, posted an Instagram video of himself where Bieber was identified putting his arm around Gomez, HollywoodLife.com reports. Bieber's friends Alfredo Flores and rapper Lil' Twist also posted separate Instagram images of Gomez and her on-and-off again boyfriend over the holiday weekend. Bieber took to Twitter to comment about his July 4 holiday.
"Great night," Bieber tweeted.
While it remains to be seen whether Bieber has officially started dating Gomez again, the former recently commented about staying friends with his ex-girlfriend. Bieber insisted that he could still be friends with previous girlfriends in a recent Us Weekly report.
"As long as people are kind to each other during a breakup, there is no reason they can't be friends," the singer told Us Weekly. "A lot of people give me relationship advice."
Since their initial breakup allegedly took place last year, Gomez has been vocal about wanting to have fun at her age.
"I'm in my twenties. I wanna have fun," Gomez previously said on the Z100 morning radio show. "I wanna enjoy my life and not have to worry about every single thing."
Earlier this year, Justin Bieber's mother, Pattie Mallette, opened up about her feelings concerning her son's on-and-off again love interest.
When appearing on the "Today" show last February, Mallette gave Gomez compliments while supporting her son's decisions concerning the relationship.
"You know, I just try and support whatever he's wanting and I think she's a sweetheart, and whatever they decide is great," Mallette said on "Today."
