Justin Bieber Talks Selena Gomez Appeal, Beyonce Crush, Feeling 'Gloomy'

Justin Bieber appeared on Oprah Winfrey's "Oprah's Next Chapter" on Sunday where he discussed his love for Selena Gomez, his crush on Beyonce and coping with loneliness.

Bieber, 18-year-old Canadian singer, was the subject of much speculation when many questioned if he had split from his girlfriend Selena Gomez earlier this month. Although the pair has been spotted together since the recent rumors of the split surfaced, Bieber did not shy away from speaking about the 20-year-old actress when questioned by Winfrey.

Bieber described why he was interested in Gomez in the interview that took place in October.

"I am all about genuine people, and I feel like she's just one of the most genuine people," Bieber said in the Winfrey interview that aired Nov 25. "She just has a good heart and I can talk to her about anything."

Still, the singer revealed that he has a celebrity crush.

"Beyonce," Bieber said of his celebrity crush aside from Gomez. "She's amazing."

When Winfrey asked Bieber if he really saw himself being married by the age of 25, he responded with, "I think so." Although she cautioned him against doing so.

"Your whole 20s is about discovering who you really are, and you owe that to yourself, particularly because of the business that you're in," Winfrey told Bieber in the interview that appeared on OWN. "There's not a lot of self-discovery time because so much is already defined for you."

Despite his public relationship and feelings about being married at a young age, Bieber admitted that he does not have many friends. Although the singer said he feels blessed to be given the opportunities that he has, the 18-year-old admitted that he often feels lonely.

"I really don't have a lot of friends.I have three close friends," Bieber told Winfrey. "You just feel sometimes that you need someone to be there with you. I get days where I'm just down and gloomy."
