Justin Bieber to sing for Obama and Family on Christmas (VIDEO)
Justin Bieber said he was invited by United States President Barack Obama to perform in Washington and entertain his kids, who are described as being huge fans of the pop singer.
The Canadian teen star seems more confident than ever that the accusations by Maria Yeater, the 20-year-old woman who is claiming he is the father of her baby boy, are wrong, and that he will be proven to be telling the truth after he takes the paternity test in December.
Yeater’s allegations have dominated news concerning the singer in the past number of weeks, but Bieber will be hoping that his new Christmas album, Under the Mistletoe, that was released on Nov. 1, will help him stay in the headlines for the right reasons this time.
According to Metro UK, Bieber will even get the chance to sing for Obama and his family this Christmas.
“His kids really like me, I'm doing Christmas in Washington and performing for him and the whole senate,” said Bieber to radio Kiss FM.
It will not be the first time the man in the most powerful office in the world has met the teen sensation. Obama shared at a high school visit in Virgina that he had talked with Bieber at the White House Easter Egg Roll last year, and described the pop star as a “very nice young man.”
In the eight minute-long interview on Kiss FM, Bieber answered questions about his plans during the holiday season, the kind of gifts he likes receiving, and other details concerning his life.
He said that he wants to be a positive role model for kids, and shared that the biggest inspiration in his life is still his mother. He also reminded the audience that despite popular misconception, he is not an American, and admitted that the one thing he misses the most is Tim Horton’s, the Canadian coffee shop.
