Justin Bieber Trying to Win Back Selena Gomez?
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez may be headed toward a reconciliation as new reports claim the pop star is eager to win her back.
In April Gomez, 21, reportedly initiated her split from Bieber, 19, due to alleged trust issues and while they briefly cut off all contact, a source claims they recently reconnected. The "Heartbreaker" singer is said to be doing everything possible to regain Gomez's trust.
"Justin is going hard to get her back. They weren't talking but he wore her down again and she's taking his calls again," a source HollywoodLife.com.
"She wants to keep it strictly friends, but it's a slippery slope on that because they have such intense chemistry, she's just built up walls to protect herself," the source explained.
In January the pair, who began dating in 2011, reportedly ended their relationship after a fight in Mexico. Since then they have reportedly reconciled and again split up on multiple occasions and a source close to the couple previously explained their bizarre relationship dynamic.
"Their relationship is at a bit of a holding pattern ... they can't live with each other, they can't live without each other," a source explained previously.
Bieber is reportedly wooing the former Disney star with the hope that she will give their relationship another go. While Gomez still has feelings for the pop singer, her friends are reportedly trying to prevent a reconciliation.
"Justin has major game, he's good at saying all the right things and he's looking hot!" the source said.
"I'd say there's a good chance they'll go for another round. Of course, all her friends are hoping she'll stay strong and keep him in the friend zone," the source said.
Bieber previously expressed that he does in fact want to settle down with the right woman one day, but he did not specify when exactly.
"I can't wait to have a beautiful wife and little kids running around," Bieber told In Touch magazine.
The singer, who has always been vocal about his Christian faith, revealed that while he wants to become a husband and father one day it will eventually happen in God's time.
"Those things are in God's hands, not mine," he said.
