Justin Bieber's Car, Real Estate Make for $14 Million Birthday
Justin Bieber celebrated his birthday with a $100,000 car, parties, and a real estate search for a $14 million birthday.
Justin Bieber, the teenage heartthrob of young girls worldwide, had a variety of activities planned for his birthday Thursday, many of which were fun, exciting, and only available to the mega-rich.
First, the Biebs went parachuting in the afternoon, according to TMZ. Afterwards, he went out for dinner and a party.
But that certainly didn't cost him $14 million.
The first expensive gift Bieber received was from his manager, Scooter Braun. Braun discovered Bieber by accident when he clicked on his video on YouTube.
Bieber's longtime manager Scooter Braun surprised the singer with the environmentally friendly Fisker Karma on Thursday's episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." The car, which costs upwards of $100,000, just went on the market in December.
"We wanted to make sure, since you love cars, that when you're on the road you are always looking environmentally friendly. And we decided to get you a car that would stand out. I think you know where I'm going, and you're kind of freaking out right now. That's a Fisker Karma," Braun said.
What made the birthday a $14 million day, though, was Bieber's real estate hunt. Justin has his eye on two mansions - one in Calabasas, Calif., which used to house the Kardashians and Britney Spears, according to TMZ. One estate costs $6 million, and the other, a reported $8 million. The two homes could cost $14 million together.
Bieber may also purchase a $10 million estate in Hollywood. The home, though currently being rented by Ashton Kutcher, could become his new, "really dope" bachelor pad, according to the pop singer.
In getting ready to spend loads of money, Bieber didn't forget to give back. While celebrating his birthday, he urged others to donate $18 to the charity Water for his 18th birthday.
The charity helps give clean drinking water to people in developing countries.
"I want to use my bday to help others. if u want please donate $18 to @charitywater on my 18th bday!" he tweeted.
