Justin Bieber's Grandparents Not Invited to 'Believe' Premiere?

Justin Bieber may not have invited his paternal grandparents to be a part of his exclusive "Believe" preview screening.

Bieber, the 19-year-old Canadian crooner, was pictured with his mother and her parents,Bruce and Diane Dale, at the "Believe" screening in Los Angeles recently. However Bieber's paternal grandparents George and Kathy Bieber, were not invited to the screening ahead of the film's Christmas premiere, according to Radar Online reports.

"I really don't want to talk about it," George told Radar Online after being questioned about his absence from the premiere and relationship with his grandson.

The news comes months after the disabled, self-employed demolition worker who said he has not seen Justin since Christmas despite being in need of financial support.

"He never calls us, and now I sometimes think he doesn't care," Bieber's grandfather said in a New York Daily News report. "It does make me sad, as right now our life is pretty desperate."

While the elder Bieber insists that he his wife Kathy are having tough times in their Ontario, Canada residence, his grandson has reportedly offered little support.

"I can't work due to illness, so there is barely any money coming into the house and we only just about get by," the grandfather told the New York Daily News previously. "His grandma has a bad back, too, but works like a dog hauling huge bags of paint powder 40 hours a week."

However, George pointed out that the singer's maternal grandparents are not struggling the way he is.

"For them, nothing seems to be too much trouble, and he buys them new houses, cars, luxury holidays, anything they want. But for us, nothing," George Bieber said. "He was such a big part of our life, and now nothing. It's like he is a stranger and now we barely know him. Thank goodness we have 10 other grandchildren is all I can say."

While it is unclear how Bieber felt about his grandfather's claims, he did recently tell MTV News that he wanted to take some time off to focus on his family.

"I wanna get to know my family more," he told MTV News at the Regal Cinemas L.A. Live. "I've been away so much, I've missed a lot of great years with my brother and sister."
