Justin Bieber's Mother Reveals Feelings About Selena Gomez
Justin Bieber's mother, Pattie Mallette, recently opened up about her feelings concerning her son's on-and-off again love interest Selena Gomez.
Mallette, 38, has been promoting her film "Crescendo I" about the attempted abortion of Beethoven's mother, but did not shy away from speaking about her son. Bieber, 18, has made headlines for his relationship and reported breakup from Disney actress and singer Gomez.
When appearing on the "Today" show recently, Mallette gave Gomez compliments while supporting her son's decisions concerning the relationship.

"You know, I just try and support whatever he's wanting and I think she's a sweetheart, and whatever they decide is great," Mallette said on "Today."
In an interview with Billboard magazine last month, Bieber revealed that he was not happy with the status of his relationship weeks after reports stated that he split from 20-year-old Gomez.
"I'm not in the happiest place that I've ever been. I'm trying to get through what I'm going through," Bieber told Billboard. "I have my really close friends to cheer me up and keep me going."
Still, the Canadian crooner cautioned people about paying attention to rumors that were not accurate.
"There's so many rumors," Bieber said. "People say I call Selena every day and she won't pick up the phone or I'm chasing her down, and these are all fake stories."
While Bieber has also appeared in recent headlines for alleged substance abuse, his mother told "Today" that it isn't easy letting her son grow up.
"It's tough letting go and letting our kids make the mistakes that they need to make," she said on "Today." "And I just have to trust that he's made good decisions in the past and hopefully he's learned from some of my mistakes."
Bieber recalled some of his mother's advice about making such mistakes when speaking to Billboard last month.
"I don't have any regrets. I live and I learn. My mom says, 'You got to learn the hard way, don't you?' That's me," Bieber told Billboard. "I learn the hard way. But it's about how I pick myself up and be better and stronger."
