Justin Timberlake New Album Features Beyonce, Jay-Z? (VIDEO)
Justin Timberlake is preparing to release his first album in seven years and a new report claims that the recently married singer teamed up with music powerhouses Beyonce and Jay-Z on at least one track.
Timberlake, 31, took to social networking site Twitter Wednesday where he posted a link to a teaser video in which he hints at making new music. The end of the video features a three day countdown, leading fans to assume that his new album may be released within days, according to the New York Daily News.
"I've only done two albums in 10 years. What does the next decade mean for me?" Timberlake says in the video while heading into a recording studio.
"I don't want to put anything out that I feel is something I don't love," he continues. "You just don't get that every day. You have to wait for it. … I'm ready."
The highly anticipated album will be Timberlake's first since "Future Sex/Love Sounds," which he released in 2006.
In December celebrity blogger Perez Hilton claimed that Timberlake, who married actress Jessica Biel in October, was spotted in a recording studio with Beyonce, 31, and her hip hop mogul husband Jay-Z, 42.
Beyonce, who is also preparing to release an album this year, confirmed that she had recently worked with the "Sexy Back" singer among other big names.
"I've been working with Pharrell and Timbaland and Justin Timberlake and Dream," Beyonce told GQ magazine. "We all started in the '90s, when R& B was the most important genre, and we all kind of want that back: the feeling that music gave us."
On Jan. 9 renowned music producer Carl Paul sent out a cryptic tweet which appeared to confirm the collaboration rumors. However it was later deleted, according to HollywoodLife.com.
"MADE A MOVIE WIT THE LEGEND TIMBALAND GOT SUM HEAT COMIN SOON BEYONCÈ, JAY-Z, JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE IM WORKIN #HowBoutU," Paul tweeted Wednesday.
