JWoww New Tiger Tattoo 'Symbolizes Good Versus Evil'
Jennifer "JWoww" Farley has debuted her latest tattoo in the newest issue of "Inked" magazine. The "Jersey Shore" star has said that she chose the tiger to "compliment the dragon" on her rib cage, and together the two tattoos "symbolize good versus evil, like a yin and yang."
"My dragon and tiger were both designed by my college advisor, Jon Squid," Farley told Inked Magazine. "He was an art student, but he's also been tattooing for 10 years."
As many know, Farley wears her art on various parts of her body, with a flower and wings with the German word "OPA" on her right ankle. She selected that particular tattoo after the death of her grandmother. "Opa" is the German term for grandmother, and Farley has said that she likes "to express art on her body."
"My grandmother passed away in February, and her 90th birthday would have been in May, so I was filming there and I found a perfect Florence artist to put my grandmother on me," she told Jimmy Fallon.
During filming of "Jersey Shore," Farley also had an image of praying hands and a cross tattooed on her right upper back. She wanted to pay homage to the woman who'd given so much to her.
The dragon is inked on her left ribcage and covers nearly 12 inches of skin. "As an art student, I like how people express art on their bodies," Farley told Inked.
All of Farley's tattoos can be covered if the star chooses, which is why she had them done in easily coverable areas. "I want to be able to show my tattoos off when I want to, and I want to be able to cover them when I don't," she explained.
Farley is the latest celebrity to debut her new ink. Yesterday, one of MTV's other stars, Kailyn Lowry of "Teen Mom 2" tweeted a picture of her massive back tattoo, generating quite a buzz of interest.
