Kailyn Lowry Quietly Weds Fiance Jose 'Javi' Marroquin

"Teen Mom 2" star Kailyn Lowry has revealed that she quietly married Jose "Javi" Marroquin in September. It's the first marriage for the single mother, whose story has been documented by MTV since she first appeared on "16 & Pregnant."

"You just know when it's right," Lowry told In Touch Weekly about the nuptials. She and Marroquin slipped away to Pennsylvania to exchange vows. Lowry has not revealed whether son Isaac was present at the small ceremony, but has said that Marroquin's devotion to the boy is part of why she fell for him.

"He gave up his youth to be with someone who has a kid. That means a lot," she told the magazine. Friends also cited Marroquin's attitude towards being a stepfather and that added responsibility.

"Javi has a great heart," a friend told OK! Magazine. His patience is one of the many traits that she really loves about him. Javi and Isaac adore each other. They get along great, and Kailyn knows he will be a great stepdad to her son and never treat him as anything but his own."

Lowry is not the first "Teen Mom" to get married while filming for the show. Leah Messer first married her boyfriend, and babies' father, Corey Simms, but that relationship did not last very long. After it was revealed that Messer cheated on Simms before the ceremony, the couple quickly filed for divorce.

Messer married Jeremy Calvert in April and the couple is already expecting their first child together. According to sources, the new baby is a girl, which will be Messer's third daughter. She already has twin daughters, Aleeah and Aliannah.

Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are engaged and planning a Spring 2013 wedding, which fans hope will be filmed for MTV. The couple has been together since the seventh grade and gave their daughter, Carly, up for adoption during their time on "16 & Pregnant."
