Kainos To Release Highly-Anticipated Debut CD 'Alive' April 26th
After spending two years crafting their highly anticipated debut CD Alive, Kainos founding members Ben and Hannah Stacy will see their aggressive collection of songs hit store shelves on April 26th.
With Hannah's powerhouse voice and Ben's extraordinary gifts as a writer and guitar player, the couple began to create music in a desire to speak to the urgent needs of their generation.
"Our heart is to challenge this generation not to be bound to traditions set by the church or the world," explains Ben. "We want to wake them up, tell them it's great that they are going to church, but don't sleepwalk through it. Don't show up just because it's what you've done all your life. Dig in there. Find out what it's all about."
Expectations are high for this new rock duo, in part due to an extensive marketing campaign that includes 50,000 stickers distributed to festival goers, a massive online promotional campaign through Buzzplant and other providers, month-long promotions with ZJam and "Weekend 22", street team promotions and much more. A heavy touring schedule is also in place, including 7 main stage festival appearances opening for the headliner (including Atlanta Fest and Rock the Universe), select dates with Fusebox and Food for the Hungry's Will Play For Food Tour, and the Shoutfest tour in the fall.
The first single, "Selfish Me", debuted last week at #27 on the R&R Rock chart, and is climbing quickly.
