'Kakegurui' Episode 11 Spoilers: Will Yumeko Win or Deliberately Lose in Ongoing Match with Kaede?
Yumeko and Kaede's public gambling match continues on the next episode of the Japanese anime series, "Kakegurui." Will this be the match that finally takes Yumeko's house pet status away?
Then again, knowing just how unpredictable Yumeko truly is, viewers should not discount the possibility of the compulsive gambler deliberately losing the match and increasing her debt. After all, being a house pet gives her the opportunity to challenge the student council president to a public match — one that the president will never be able to refuse.
This week's episode also revealed that Yumeko may have just gained a new friend in Sumeragi, the former student council member who loved to bet on human nails.
When Yumeko ran out of chips to bet, she called out to Sumeragi for help. And not even Kaede, bribing the girl that she could still get her seat back, was able to keep Sumeragi from buying Yumeko's next 100 chips.
Will these 100 chips be enough for Yumeko to take Kaede down, or will she instead be orchestrating a totally different plan?
The preview shown at the end of this week's episode revealed the upcoming installment's title, "The Woman Who Best Her Life." Could this be a reference to the eccentric Midari, or will Yumeko be forced to bet her own life for the sake of gambling?
Also, the student council president has not yet returned from her supposed business trip that may or may not concern Midari. What good tidings or bad update will she be bringing back? And why did she have to leave in the first place?
Yumeko and Kaede's match may be ending soon. Will Yumeko be able to improve her status or will she be buried in an even bigger debt?
Kakegurui airs on Saturdays at 10 p.m. JST on Tokyo MX and Saturdays late night at 2:38 a.m. JST on MBS. Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official website
