Kaley Cuoco's Wedding Details: Pink Dress, Upside-Down Chandelier Cake (PHOTOS)
Kaley Cuoco and her boyfriend Ryan Sweeting kicked off 2014 as husband and wife with an over-the-top fire-and-ice themed wedding on New Year's Eve.
After referring to it as the "best night in history," Cuoco is revealing more details about the special wedding this week.
Firstly, "The Big Bang Theory" star traded a traditional white wedding gown for a fluffy pink bridal look. The Vera Wang tulle ball gown was custom-made and featured a sweetheart neckline, a hand-gathered detailed bodice and hand applique Chantilly lace accents, according to E! News.
Moreover, Cuoco's veil was also made by Wang and was made from nude tulle with petal-pink floating hand applique Chantilly lace.
The extravagance did not end there. Cuoco and her husband recruited Los Angeles' Butter End Cakery, which managed to get a six-tiered cake to hang upside-down from a chandelier.
"TY (thank you) #thebutteredend for creating our magical chandelier cake," Cuoco shared with a photo on Instagram following her wedding. "Literally hanging above us. EPIC."
The two-flavored cake was rigged to the bottom of the chandelier and was more than just for show- the bride and groom cut the cake and ate it as the festivities went on.
In the days that followed the wedding, Cuoco responded to fans' many inquiries about the amazing cake.
"Lots of people are asking about our cake and I'm happy to share another pic," the actress posted to Twitter. "It was truly upside down! @thebutterend."
Meanwhile, a reported 150 friends and family members of the couple attended the fire-and-ice themed wedding which took place at Hummingbird Nest Ranch. The Spanish-style villa lies just north of Los Angeles in the Santa Susana Mountains and featured sweeping views as well as groves of olive trees and romantic fountains.
One day after the ceremony, Cuoco shared another photo with the caption, "Greatest night of my entire life : )"
