Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker Wedding News: Bridal Shower Supported By Mama Joyce

Kandi Burruss recently celebrated her bridal shower and let the world know that her mother was involved, despite speaking out against her fiance.

Joyce Jones, known as "Mama Joyce" on the Bravo reality television show, has vehemently disagreed with her singer-songwriter daughter's decision to marry her fiance - television producer Todd Tucker. Despite accusing Tucker of being an opportunist and unfaithful to his fiance, Mama Joyce appeared with some "Real Housewives of Atlanta" cast members and Burruss' friends to celebrate the 37-year-old's upcoming nuptials.

"Looking forward to a fun day with friends & family," Burruss exclaimed on Instagram.

It seems Mama Joyce has come around to Burruss' decision to marry Tucker, over one month after the trio appeared on "The View." Tucker revealed just how much Mama Joyce's comments were impacting his present and future family.

"I think everyone has a breaking point…The lies, that stuff is really tough. I have a mom and it affects my mother. It affects my daughter," Tucker previously said on the talk show. "It affects Kandi's daughter. The other day Kandi's daughter told Kandi 'I don't like that he said he would leave you.'"

While Mama Joyce questioned Tucker's work ethic, he revealed that he has taken on two new projects under his self owned production company. Mama Joyce explained her feelings about his job to "The View" hosts, namely Whoopi Goldberg who seemed to be mediating the group.

"Well, really Todd seems like a very nice person and when I met him he seemed like a very nice person. But I have a problem with after his first job, which was doing the Kim and Kroy wedding he took like two months off," Burruss' mother said on the show. "Now, I come from a family of men that work. I had a problem with that ya know? And also, he said that he was using part of his savings and when you already to me, stepping up I feel like you don't need to use part of your savings."

Earlier this year, Mama Joyce vowed to leave her daughter's relationship alone.

"I decided to stay out of their relationship and let them deal with their relationship. They're together, but I'm out of their relationship," she previously told HLN. "It's much healthier, but I have rekindled a healthy relationship with my daughter and my granddaughter, and we're in a good place."
