Kansas City Chiefs vs Buffalo Bills takes place in Week 9 of the NFL 2013 regular season on Sunday afternoon as the Chiefs look to make it nine straight wins this season. The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
The Chiefs are currently top of the AFC West, but despite their amazing 8-0 record, they are only one win ahead of Peyton Manning and his Denver Broncos who are on 7-1. That means the pressure is still on the Chiefs to keep winning, and they have next to no room for mistakes if they are to claim the division title this year.
Meanwhile, the Bills come into this clash with a record of 3-5 and are the basement team n the AFC East. A win today would be a massive boost for them, as they are only just behind the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins, who are both on 4-4.
The Bills lost last week on the road to New Orleans, and were handed out a painful lesson in a 17-35 blowout loss. That was a big disappointment for Buffalo as they had hoped to build on their good work from the week before when they claimed a good 23-21 win over the Miami Dolphins. They return home this week to the Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo to host the high flying Chiefs, and will hope for a shock win that may revive their playoff hopes.
Coach Doug Marrone has reported that Bills' running back C.J. Spiller is expected to play today, and that will be a big lift for the team. Spiller is 362 yards on 90 carries, and he has been supporting the good work of Fred Jackson who is 425 yards on 101 carries and 6 touchdowns. Combined they have helped the Bills rank 7th in the NFL for rush offense, where they are posting 133.9 yards on average per game.
Meanwhile for the Chiefs, they will simply be hoping to maintain their intensity and notch up another win today following their close 23-17 win over Cleveland in Week 8.
