Kanye West and Kim Kardashian Join Kevin Hart in MTV VMA Promo

Kanye West, 35-year-old rapper, has only spoken about his relationship with 31-year-old reality television star Kim Kardashian in his music, but now the two are showcasing their comedic side in a new promotional spot for the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards.

The promotional commercial features comedian Kevin Hart, who will host the show on Sept. 6. Hart opens up the scene by looking in the mirror at his reflection that stares back at him with a tuxedo on.

"Alright guys how do you want to do this," Hart questions his reflection as he makes his way into another room where the celebrity couple is pictured cuddling on a bed. "You want to go with the same colors, same sneaks (sic)? I just want to make sure we're on the same page, that's all."

While Kardashian continues to stare at her boyfriend in the commercial, West gives the comedian a telling glance.

"Guys! Hey! I'm talking to you," Hart exclaims trying to get their attention. "I know you hear me talking to you!"

West is the first to respond to Hart in the commercial, after close to a year of remaining tight-lipped about his relationship in the media.

"Why are you all dressed up," West questions Hart in the bit. "We just came from the gym man."

Hart responds with comedic hand gestures and facial expressions that he has become known for.

"Why am I all dressed up? Wake up baby," Hart responds to the couple. "Come on, I'm hosting the VMAs. Paparazzi is downstairs. This is the first time they are getting a whiff of this."

Kardashian pipes in with more than a facial expression at that point by asking, "A whiff of what?"

Hart then dubs the trio an "It couple."

"A whiff of this! us! I'm talking about the new IT couple," Hart reveals. "I'm talking about Kevye Kim. I just made that up, it's trademarked don't steal it."

After West asks if Hart is serious, the comedian decides to rename the trio.

"Okay you're just mad because you're not first, is that the problem?" Hart inquires. "Fine, Yekevkim. Done. You got first billing."

As Kardashian seems to question Hart's logic with a simple "what," the comedian attempts to appease the reality television star in the promotional video.

"Okay, Kim. I'm not going to go back and forth. We're going to go Ye, Kim, Kev," Hart says as West shakes his head. "Done. That's it. Or we can go KKK. You got a white hoody?"

West also questions his girlfriend by asking "Do you?"

Hart completes the skit by saying, "KKK let's March!"

As Kardashian puts her head down, the commercial comes to a close and the host and time of the VMAs show is announced.

Fans reacted to the couples' acting debut on Twitter.

"Who knew that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were such a funny duo," one person questioned.

Others seemed just as amused.

"Hilarious," another person tweeted.

While Kardashian has yet to be nominated for a musical release, West has been nominated as a solo artist and for his part in the hip-hop duet with Jay-Z, "The Throne." Both nominations will be for Best Hip-Hop Video.
