Kanye West Backtracks on President Obama Statements?
Kanye West seemed to backtrack on his statements about President Barack Obama while speaking on a Washington, D.C. radio station recently.
While the 36-year-old rapper previously insisted that he was through talking about Obama, the topic came up once again. However, West did not shy away from speaking about the President and even offered his support for Obama and his family.
"[Barack and I] could go to dinner. It's all good," West insisted while on D.C. radio station 95.5 WPGC recently. "At the end of the day, even for the President, it's for entertainment value. If he's talking about my girl or he's talking about me, he's just trying to lighten the mood up, to show that he's personable and he knows what's going on in pop culture."

West said he understands why Obama may have likened him to a donkey in the past.
"If nobody's liking Kanye West, he can say, 'Oh, he's a jacka--,' cause maybe another person in that room is like, 'Yeah he's a jacka--, cool whatever, let's get this bill passed,'" West said of Obama's previous statements concerning the rapper. "His focus is the bill, not supporting my mission, my message. I understand that."
The 36-year-old rap mogul's comments seemed to have a different tone than when he appeared on the Philadelphia radio station Hot 107.9. During the apperance he seemed to caution the President against speaking badly about Kim Kardashian, the mother of his child.
"I think he shouldn't mention my baby mama's name because we both from Chicago," West said on the radio station "I'm not gonna mention him no more. I'm past that."
However, West insists he supports Obama.
"I support anything Obama is trying to do,"the rap mogul said. "I support their family. I support any family."
