Kanye West Hailed By Obama for 'Outstanding' Music
Kanye West recently got the nod of approval from POTUS Barack Obama, who recently hailed the rapper's music as "outstanding."
In a recent interview with People magazine Obama, who once labeled West a "jackass" for his boorish behavior towards singer Taylor Swift, was asked to choose who he would rather spend time with - West and reality TV star Kim Kardashian or the cast of reality show "Duck Dynasty. While the President opted for the latter, he applauded West's music.
"Kanye's music is outstanding though. I've got a lot of his stuff on my iPad. If it was a concert, then I might not mind listening to him," Obama told People according to the Daily Mirror UK.

Obama's kind words follow a series of rants recently made by the "New Slaves" rapper, some of which were aimed at the First family.
In August West was reportedly offended by an interview in which Obama blamed society's fixation on pop culture for the altered view of the American Dream. POTUS used West, 36, and Kardashian, 33, as examples to illustrate his theory that the public's interest into the personal lives of Hollywood celebrities has somehow distorted the way society measures success in relation to the American dream.
In a series of bizarre rants West not only demanded that Obama stop mentioning "my baby mama name," but at one point the rapper attempted to compare Kardashian with the First Lady. West suggested that his fiancé is far more influential than Michelle Obama, which did not sit well with many critics.
West is not the only celebrity who was upset over Obama's criticisms. Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner defended the famous couple by taking a jab at the President on her talk show "Kris."
"I bet the president has some friends with 10,000-square-foot houses and you probably wouldn't mind going over there, Mr. President while you were asking them to have a party for you when you were campaigning for dollars to run for president," Jenner said, referring to high-netting, star-studded fundraising parties previously thrown for Obama by various celebrities.
