Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian West are using their star power to uplift people.

West, the 37-year-old rap mogul, was mentioned in his 33-year-old wife's Instagram post. In the social media message, the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star posted a photograph of a student who looked to be bed ridden in a hospital.

In the image, Kardashian was pictured video chatting on a cell phone with the college student named Alyson Raywood, who philly.com confirmed is registered at St. Joseph's University. Kardashian and her husband chatted with the student, who the reality star insisted they would be praying for.

"Kanye & I got to face time with the beautiful @AlysonRaywood Were praying for you," (SIC) Kardashian exclaimed on Instagram.

Last June, the "Yeezus" rapper appeared on Power 106 FM where he spoke about his belief that God has called him to a specific mission that he is currently carrying out.

"I'm working on one mission, and that's a mission from God," West said on the radio show. "I'm gonna make it very clear exactly what I'm here to do."

Despite making many controversial comments, West insisted that he is not here to be egotistical, but to help others.

"I'm here to help. I'm going to apply all the blessings I've got," he said. "We're moving to the future. [And] I'm gonna be the anchor."

Instead of calling him egotistical, West said people should focus on his intent for distributing messages in the way he does.

"Don't worry about how I'm saying what I'm saying," he said on the radio station. "Look at what I'm saying and how I feel and how my intent is."

The cast of Oxygen's hit docu-series "Preachers of L.A." previously appeared on the Wendy Williams show, where the outspoken talk show host asked about their opinions on West. Bishop Ron M. Gibson of Life Church of God In Christ in California insisted that West is gifted, and offered to mentor the rap mogul.

"I think Kanye West is a tremendous gift to the world, I just have a problem with Kanye West's philosophy," Gibson told host Williams. "I just think Kanye needs a positive role model. I would love to mentor Kanye West, he's a great guy."
